Looking for a Health and Safety role where you can make a visible impact across one of the UK’s largest Housing Associations?
We’re supporting a leading Housing Association in their search for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their established Corporate Health & Safety team on a 9-month fixed-term contract, running until 31st May 2027. The role offers excellent flexibility, with typically just one day per week in the London office and the remainder home-based.
About the Role
You'll provide practical Health and Safety advice and support across a large, multi-site organisation, working with frontline teams, managers and key stakeholders to improve standards and promote a positive safety culture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing practical Health and Safety advice across the organisation
- Delivering audits, inspections and compliance monitoring
- Supporting accident and incident reporting and investigations
- Developing and delivering Health and Safety training
- Supporting the ongoing improvement of the safety management system
- Leading and supporting Health and Safety projects
What We're Looking For
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- TechIOSH or equivalent professional membership
- Health and Safety experience within a multi-site environment
- Housing or similarly Property Management sector experience advantageous
- Strong communication, auditing and influencing skills
What's on Offer (Pro Rata)
- Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)
- 4 day working week available (compressed hours - 35 hours across 4 days)
