Working within a collaborative and supportive safety team, you’ll play a key role in driving positive health & safety culture across multiple live sites mainly within London and the M25.

The business is undergoing significant growth and investment, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a modern, evolving H&S function where fresh ideas and a pragmatic approach are genuinely valued.

About the Role

You’ll support operational teams across a varied portfolio of construction projects including new build, refurbishment, remediation and cladding works. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out site inspections, audits and safety reviews across multiple projects
  • Supporting site teams with the practical implementation of health & safety standards
  • Advising on CDM compliance, RAMS, temporary works and high-risk activities
  • Assisting with incident investigations and ensuring lessons learned are embedded
  • Working closely with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders to improve overall safety culture
  • Supporting the business through different project phases, from pre-construction through to delivery
  • Promoting proactive engagement around health, safety and wellbeing across sites

What We’re Looking For

  • H&S experience within construction, new build housing, refurbishment or related environments
  • Minimum NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH minimum)
  • Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction risk management
  • Experience undertaking audits, inspections and incident investigations
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to health & safety
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites

What’s on Offer

  • Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)
  • Car allowance and milage paid from home to site
  • 28 days annual leave rising to 31 with service, plus bank holidays.
  • Outstanding pension plan (up to 12% contribution).
  • Health Cash Plan, non-contributory life assurance, lifestyle benefits and Employee Assistance
  • Electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme through Octopus Electric Vehicles
  • Flexible working culture with genuine work life balance - autonomy to manage your own diary
  • Clear development and internal progression pathways
  • Hybrid and flexible working environment - opportunity to work from home and site across a 35 hour working week

Why Join?

  • This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business where health & safety is genuinely valued and continuing to evolve.
  • Join during a period of growth and investment
  • Opportunity to influence projects from an early stage
  • Exposure to a varied portfolio of residential construction and remediation projects
  • Work alongside experienced and pragmatic operational teams within a supportive and collaborative team culture
